On this very fine morning, not weather-wise I hasten to add, tickets for the first Quantic live show in London for absolutely ages went on sale. Now playing under ‘Quantic and his Combo Bararbo’ Will Holland will be bringing his band live and direct from the Colombian town of Cali to London’s Roundhouse on 4th September. Praise for the album is already flooding in so I would hold out on snapping up a ticket. Here over to Ticketweb for all you need.
” ‘Tradition in Transition’ is really, really good – as expected ” Mr. Scruff
“Wonderful! Deep, organic and uniquely brilliant. His best work to date” Craig Charles, BBC6 Music
“Lush…a Brilliant LP….Tru Thoughts Brighton – that’s what it’s all about” Gilles Peterson, BBC Radio 1
As if that wasn’t enough to turn up the heat on your Monday – The Hot Brass Band are also playing London on June 25th . With support from Belleruche, The Baker Brothers and Robert Luis (DJ Set) these boys from New Orleans do not disappoint on the live stage. Talk to Ticketweb asap.

Quantic and his combo barbaro is the best album to come out so far this year by far. Instant Classic! I saw him spin the other night and cannot wait for him to bring the live combo to Toronto. Please let me know how to make this happen!
